Tom and Scott started Mountain Hot Tub by hand building wood tubs, one at a time.

After 35 successful years, the company was purchased by a long-time employee and MHT General Manager, Kelly King in 2014. In that time, Mountain Hot Tub was recognized by Aqua Magazine as one of the Top 100 pool and spa dealers several times over and was inducted into the Aqua 100 Hall of Fame in 2005.

Since 2014, Kelly King grew and expanded the vision to better serve the growing number of hot tub users in our communities. In 2019, Kelly & his wife, Shirley, purchased land, designed, and built the building at our present-day combined Bozeman showroom and warehouse on 8488 Huffine Lane. The integration of our showroom and warehouse allowed seamless interactions with our various Bozeman teams, to better serve our customers. Since the build, the MHT Bozeman location has been highlighted in numerous industry publications.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our leisure product portfolio to include Saunas, Swim Spas and Cold Plunges – offering the highest quality products to enhance our customers’ relaxation, health and wellness. In 2023, Kelly King sold the business to the new local MHT employee ownership team. Today, we are proud to be Montana’s highest volume hot tub dealer.
