Founded in 1979 by Montana locals Tom Walker and Scott Smith, Mountain Hot Tub started as hand-crafted wood tubs being built one at a time in Bozeman.

After 35 successful years, the company was purchased by a long-time employee and MHT General Manager, Kelly King in 2014. In that time, Mountain Hot Tub was recognized by Aqua Magazine as one of the Top 100 pool and spa dealers several times over and was inducted into the Aqua 100 Hall of Fame in 2005.

Over the years, we’ve grown from having just one store to supporting six stores across Montana: Bozeman, Big Sky, Helena, Butte, Missoula, and Whitefish. We’ve also expanded our leisure product portfolio from just hot tubs to also include saunas, swim spas and cold plunges – offering the highest quality products to enhance our customers’ relaxation, health and wellness.
